Anyway, there's a new article reviewing Mona Ibrahim's Gamasutra article on the legality of reverse-engineering. Mona's article is very well done, and I suggest that aspiring independent developers give it a once-over.
I've got a second guest article up at GamePolitics, this time about 2K's decision to implement DRM (specifically SecuROM and Games for Windows Live Activation) in BioShock 2 after the debacle that was DRM in BioShock 1.
